Operation Theatre

The Operating Theatre (OT) is an integrated and essential area within the hospital, where sterile procedures are performed. The Central Sterile Supply Department (CSSD) is responsible for the sterilization of medical devices, equipment, and consumables for subsequent use by healthcare professionals in the operating theatre.

There are a total of six modular OT rooms, all designed to meet international standards. These rooms are equipped with 99.97% purified HEPA filters and Class 100 (ISO 5) Laminar Air Flow systems to ensure a sterile environment. Each operating room features central control panels and is outfitted with advanced medical technology to minimize the risk of infection during surgical procedures.

Sterile service operations typically include cleaning, disinfection, and sterilization of reusable medical instruments. The OT is equipped with six anesthesia machines (Mindray and Dräger brands) and two C-arm machines (GE OEC and OEC One models). Additionally, a technologically advanced CUSA aspirator is used in surgeries where coagulation and cutting are required.
